Data protection officer Singapore: we act as your DPO
Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) requires every organisation to appoint a data protection officer. Singapore firms, clinics and condominiums use us as their named DPO: we take the role, publish the business contact, handle access requests and complaints, and keep your records ready to show.

Common questions
Is a DPO mandatory in Singapore?
Yes. The PDPA requires every organisation to appoint at least one DPO and to make the DPO’s business contact available. Having no DPO was part of a S$47,000 Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) penalty on a travel agency, published in January 2026.
Can a DPO be a current member of staff?
Yes. Many organisations name a manager as DPO. The role needs time and know-how, so some appoint us instead, or ask us to support their own DPO. Either way, accountability stays with your organisation.
What does a data protection officer do?
A DPO makes sure your organisation keeps the PDPA’s rules day to day: policies and notices, staff awareness, access and correction requests, complaints, vendor checks and data breaches. The DPO is also the contact the public and the PDPC can reach.
How much does an outsourced DPO cost?
The fee depends on how many people, systems and sites handle personal data, and what is already in place. You get a fixed-fee proposal after a short scoping call. Tell us your scope in 5 minutes and you get a fixed-fee proposal within 2 working days: Scope your project
